Have your song critiqued by an industry professional
Take your best work and get an honest, professional opinion on it’s commercial viability. Critiques may include suggestions for improvement or suggestions for ways to place the song.
[A.J. Masters]
Writing music for T.V.
John has placed hundreds of songs in television. Learn the ins and outs, do and dont’s of writing themes and bumps. Unleash the tricks that make your tracks pop. Also learn how to get your songs out there.
Demystifying Mandolin for guitar players (easy mando)
Most songwriters work with a guitar. Why not expand your inspiration with a second instrument. John teaches guitar players the basics of mandolin that will get you up and playing before you head home. Students will also have the opportunity to buy a gorgeous Montana Made Weber Mandolin at a substantial discount; visit the plant and select the instrument you’ll play for a life time.
[John Bohlinger]
Co-Write with A.J., John, and Megan
John will sit down you and a guitar and throw ideas back and forth in the Nashville songwriter tradition. When you apply your craft and talent to this collaboration, you will leave with song.*
*As will all collaboration, the success of this co-write depends on your involvement and ability. The finished song will be, as with all professional collaborations, co-owned equally with all partners involved. All parties are welcome to pitch and exploit this creation and way they see fit. Any profits from placement of this song will be shared equally between co-writers.
